In reply to Claire Knibb. Hi Claire, feel free to alter the recipe to suit your taste like you have suggested you could reduce the amount of soy sauce or you can find reduced salt soy sauce in most supermarkets. Hope that helps!

I’ve just made this and I have to say it is extremely salty. If I make it again i would definitely reduce the soy sauce I think.

Hi, what is a fat separator? I’ve seen it mentioned in a couple of recipes and I’ve never heard of it. Is it a machine? Or a device like a sieve?

Isn’t 150ml of Soy Sauce a lot to use? I’ve seen other recipes similar but they’re 3-5 tbsp. of Soy.

Absolutely loved this recipe. Was wondering if I could still do this with pork loin chops or pork strips? Obviously I wouldn’t cook it for quite so long but would I need to change any amounts of the ingredients?
