How hot (spicy) is this dish? 4 tsps of chipotle seem a lot (I normally use 1/2 when spicing up my Spag bol)

Hi Alison, soaking couscous takes from 5 – 15 minutes with 10 minutes being the average time. Try a little of the rehydrated couscous, if it’s tender to the bite it will be ready. If it’s still crunchy, soak for a little longer. Hope this helps.
