I make this dish a lot as it’s so fast and delicious!! I didn’t have any fresh herbs in this time so I added dried parsley and some garlic granules and black pepper. Yum!!

Even though this is a quick recipe and I work from home i sometimes literally don’t have time to stand over a cooker to make it, so I make a batch of it and freeze in portions. Take out of freezer in the morning, 3 minutes in the microwave while you burn the toast, give it a stir and it tastes exactly like you just made it. Also means you can take advantage of all those reduced priced mushrooms in the shops and you only have to clean up the pans once…win win!

Instead of using toast I used bagel thins, scrumptious!

This is my second attempt. I reduced the marmite to 1/2 a teaspoon and it was delicious. I only had warburtons thins but great. Also it was the first recipe I located quickly by using my new index book for all recipes I’ve cooked so far. So fast!
