If you don’t have a microwave you can cook the cheese sauce on the hob. Add the flour and 2 tbsp of the milk to a small saucepan and whisk into a smooth paste. Add in the rest of the milk and whisk again. Place the pan over a low heat and continue to whisk for 6-8 minutes until thickened. Be careful not to boil the mixture. Once thickened, add the mustard powder, spreadable cheese and 20g Cheddar cheese and whisk until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
