Hi Ruth, as these are oat cookies they could have a slightly chewy texture rather than a crispy cookie. Maybe try not mixing them for too long next time and just bring the ingredients together until combined in step 1. Hope that helps!

Hi Jan. Replacing the cranberries with a different dried fruit should work fine. You may get a different textured cookie if you use chocolate chips. You could try using a little milk (or dairy free alternative, such as almond milk) instead of the quark. We haven’t tried this ourselves so can’t guarantee the results, as it may also affect the texture. Please let us know how you get on if try it.

I also don’t have dried cranberries so I’ll sub either with dark chocolate chips or glacé cherries or any other dried fruit which I’m sure would work just as well?

Hi Bex, yes the recipe for Cranberry and Almond Oat Cookies makes 10 cookies and serves 2 so 5 cookies per person. Hope that helps!
