Hi Sean, it may have been the coffee brand you have used like you suggested it could also be the sweetener. We use Sukrin 1 which doesn’t have that strange aftertaste that a lot of artificial sweeteners do. It also shares the exact same sweetness and weight to sugar. If you are using a powdered sweetener, then check how it compares to sugar. In some cases you’ll need to use less, as powdered sweeteners weigh less. Hope that helps!

Hi Kristin, yes, the Chocolate Mud Pie is chilled in the fridge in the tin. Carefully remove it from the tin just before slicing and serving it. Hope this helps.

Hi Claire, the chocolate extract is to add further flavour to the Chocolate Mud Pie. In our facebook group some members have suggested salted caramel flavouring so you could try that too!
