I don’t like leeks so used mushrooms, had thick cut ham instead of bacon and had some breadcrumbs in the freezer that were already mixed with cheese so an easy recipe to swap ingredients

I like to dry fry the bacon until it has gone a bit crispy before adding it to the already fried leeks

Had bacon to use up so this is a firm favourite. I didn’t have leeks so used a red onion an added some chicken, so good

I used a tiny bit more cornflour as my sauce didn’t want to thicken (only about a teaspoon) and added an extra half a leek as had one to use.
