In reply to Celeste. Hi Celeste, yes, you could use any soft fruit of your choice instead of the apple. Strawberries, raspberries, blue berries, kiwi fruit and pineapple would work really well or use any other selection you prefer!

I realised too late that I did not have any ground ginger so rather than a quick dash to the shops I used double the amount of cinnamon and it tasted amazing.
