This chicken stew is too good to save for cold, wintery days. With tangy olives, creamy butter beans and salty feta in the mix, our Mediterranean-inspired recipe fills your bowl with holiday flavours, any time of year! You’ll be obsessed with how fluffy the feta dumplings are – they’re made with fat-free yoghurt, rather than suet, so they’re lovely and light, and low in calories too.

Hints & Tips

Love this. The feta dumplings are delicious in it.
I used shallots instead of onion. They cooked beautifully in the sauce. I would slightly reduce the liquid next time.
Delicious stew and light fluffy dumplings. Delicious
We didn’t use all the stock as it wasn’t needed, only 600ml. Froze half for a later date.

Love that it's gluten free
I used boiled potatoes and 2 cloves of garlic (I LOVE GARLIC), best dish and I love that it can be eaten for tea or packed lunch. For a bit of heat I added some hot sauce on the side as a dip.

You might expect to find cream in a chowder, but you won’t find a drop in our slimming-friendly version! Don’t worry though – we’ve made sure you’re not missing out on any of the indulgent creaminess you want from a dish like this. Instead, we melt spreadable mature Cheddar cheese into our potato and cauliflower-based soup. The potatoes break down as they cook, thickening the soup without any need to blend. A pinch of cayenne pepper adds just the right hint of warmth.

You can’t go wrong when you put pork and apple together! For this crowd-pleasing pulled pork recipe, we’ve poured a mixture of cider and apple juice over a spice-rubbed pork shoulder joint, then left the slow cooker to work its magic. It’s all about minimum effort and maximum flavour with this one! Once the pork is fall-off-the-fork tender, it’s ready to be shredded and coated in the gorgeous sauce made from the cooking juices. There are almost too many ways to enjoy the finished result – try pulled pork sliders, use it as a baked potato topping or spoon it over rice.
